American Association of Nurse Anesthetists

American Association of Nurse AnesthetistsHeadquarters: Park Ridge, IL

Founded in 1931, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) is the professional association representing more than 50,000 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and student registered nurse anesthetists nationwide. The AANA promulgates education and practice standards and guidelines, and affords consultation to both private and governmental entities regarding nurse anesthetists and their practice.

AANA is another longtime client of EMS Communications that utilizes a range of EMS’s communications training services. EMS often coaches individual AANA members in one-on-one training sessions focused on making the most of PowerPoint and TelePrompters without using them as a crutch. They also frequently attend EMS’s public workshops, and on top of that EMS hosts an annual Speaker Training for AANA’s Board of Directors.

  • EMS client since 2004
  • They partner with EMS for:
    • Annual Speaker Training for National Board of Directors
    • Individual employees attend EMS Public Workshops
    • Executive Speech Coaching for formal speeches and TelePrompter use
    • PowerPoint consulting

Thank you so so so much for working with me on my speech. When I went to rehearsal, the TelePrompTer had broken so there was NOTHING! I didn’t see it until I stood up to speak. But, I was comfortable, so much that I ad libbed some. The jokes went over well. I smiled. I used my hands. I didn’t rock. There were no ums. It was powerful. I could not have done this without your help.
