Eliot M. Shapiro
As co-founder and principal of EMS Communications, Eliot M. Shapiro contributes to the success of corporate executives and managers, professional salespeople, and anyone that has to deliver presentations in their personal or professional life. He brings over 25 years of business and training expertise, focusing on developing tools and techniques to empower people in the workplace.
Eliot’s approach to corporate communications builds critical skills and helps leaders develop the attitude, confidence and ability to produce effective business presentations. He has shared his secrets with thousands of clients.
He has held a variety of leadership roles—on organizational boards, as a youth leader, and as teacher and counselor. Eliot is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago Graduate School of Business, and has served on the school’s adjunct faculty.
Eric M. Schor
Eric M. Schor, EMS co-founder and principal, brings a strong interpersonal skill set to the business of presenting. He is an avid sports fan and former professional sports agent who has a unique ability to inspire those he coaches to achieve their personal and professional goals.
By combining humor and enthusiasm with a perceptive quality and a keen business sense, Eric helps people learn to make lasting impressions on others. He is known to cut through the clutter and get to the point with his clients, serving as a catalyst to help people make positive and lasting changes in their communications styles.
Eric spent more than 10 years as a manager and team leader in both a Fortune 500 company and in small businesses. His expertise working with people with varied levels of experience —graduate students to corporate CEOs—has helped EMS make bottom line impacts in their clients’ companies.
